After many improvements Xiaomi ready to works on 48MP
feature in SmartPhone - the highest-resolution seen on a handset .
Earlier improved the Xiaomi Mi MIX
smartphone which made the bezel-less screens mainstream. The co- founder of Xiaomi has taken to social media to hint
that the Chinese mobile manufacturer's next camera phone will have a resolution
of 48MP. And while the picture does not show the total number of sensors, we
expect to see at least two. On top of
that, Xiaomi has also announced that this phone would probably launch in
January 2019. Xiaomi president Lin Bin teased a sneak peek of the purported
device on Weibo. He didn’t provide any hard details but he did mention that the
company intends to launch the device in January 2019.
From the rumours, the upcoming Xiaomi phone could come
equipped either with a Sony IMX586 sensor or Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1. Both
the sensors offer effective 48MP with 0.8-micron size. Moreover, with 4-in-1
pixel binning technique, these sensors can offer higher quality low-light
images equivalent to a 12MP 1.6-micron pixel camera. Further, these sensors can
offer 4x digital zoom or in other words, sharp 12MP pictures. The previous
mega-pixel record was held by Nokia's Lumia 1020 which had a 41 megapixel
camera sensor.
The image that was shared appeared to have a 48-megapixel
camera positioned at the top left corner on the back of the phone. The image
also showed the presence of dual LED flash.

The new phone could also land in India. Manu had said that
the company is planning to launch a new phone with Snapdragon 675 processor in
2019. The Snapdragon 675 can support a 48 megapixel camera and it is likely
that both Manu and Lin are talking about the same phone. The Snapdragon 675
features the latest Cortex A76 cores along with A55 energy-efficient cores, and
offers a slew of optimizations designed to provide the best gaming experience
on mid-tier phones.
