The P30 Pro is likely to feature a large 6.1-inch OLED
panel with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The phone is likely to be powered
by the Kirin 980 SoC and will be offered in a single version with 6GB of RAM and
128GB of onboard storage. Due to
limitations in CPU processing power, memory used by the operating system and
pre-installed applications, the actual space available to users may be less
than the stated memory capacity. Actual memory space may change due to
application updates, user operations, and other related factors.
The camera setup on the Huawei
P30 Pro includes a 40-megapixel f/1.6 primary camera with OIS, a 20-megapixel
f/2.2 wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto camera. At the
front, the Huawei P30 Pro gets a 32-megapixel selfie camera. P30 Pro is backed
by Android Pie based EMUI 9.0.
The setup consists of 24MP regular shooter,
8MP wide-angle lens and 2MP depth sensor, while the front-facing camera is
32MP. It is hidden in the water drop notch that is placed on the 6.15” LCD
panel. It has Full HD+ resolution with 2312 x 1080 pixels, which isn’t the
usual tall ratio of 19.5:9, but is taller than 19:9. The Huawei P30 Lite has
Quick Charge, but it is 18W, instead of the 22.5W charge seen in the proper
flagship Huawei P30. The battery itself has 3,340 mAh capacity and charges
through a USB-C port.
Price of the phone, available
only in Black or Blue (no White option), starts from CAD429.95, which is
equivalent to $320/€285.
