Honor has launched three new smartphones in India yesterday
at an event in New Delhi – the Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, and the Honor
20i. While the Honor 20 Pro and the Honor 20 are currently the high-end
flagship smartphones from the brand, the Honor 20i is a mid-range smartphone.
The Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro have an elegant design
owing to the large screen display on the front. Both smartphones have a
punch-hole display which houses the front facing selfie camera. The rear panel
of the smartphones is made out of glass which harbours the company branding and
the quad rear camera setup which is aligned vertically.
The Honor 20i will be available to purchase starting 18th
June from Flipkart. The Honor 20 will be available starting 25th June from
Flipkart. Honor hasn’t revealed the exact sale date of the 20 Pro for India.
Honor 20
The smartphone features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ all-view
display that comes with a punch-hole design. The new Honor smartphone sports a
6.26-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) All-View display along with a hole-paunch
selfie camera and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Honor 20 comes with 6GB of RAM and
128GB of storage.
The Honor 20 is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, paired
with 6GB of RAM. The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 20 runs Android 9 Pie with Magic UI
2.1 on top.
The Honor 20 has a 48MP + 16MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-camera
configuration. Honor has replaced the 8MP telephoto camera with a 2MP depth
sensor on the Honor 20. Honor 20 has a 3750mAh battery.
The Honor 20 will retail at ₹32,999 and is available from June 25 via
Flipkart.
Honor 20 Pro
The Honor 20 Pro comes with the flagship chipset from its
sister brand Huawei, the Kirin 980. This SoC has four Cortex-A76 cores, four
Cortex-A55 cores, and Mali-G76 MP10 GPU. The Honor 20 Pro sports a 6.26-inch
IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone also has a 32MP selfie camera
with 3D portrait lightning.
Powering the device is a 4000mAh battery that supports 22.5W
fast charging. The connectivity options on the Honor 20 Pro include dual-SIM
with dual-VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C
port. The device does not come with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Honor 20 Pro is available in two colour options which
include Phantom Blue and Phantom Black. The Honor 20 Pro is powered by a 4,000
mAh battery.
Honor 20 Pro is priced at Rs 39,999 for its lone 8GB RAM variant
in India. The device can be bought in Phantom Black and Phantom Blue colours.
Honor 20i
Honor 20i is an affordable smartphone with premium design
and impressive specifications. It offers a 6.21-inch
full-HD+ waterdrop notched display with 83.1% screen-to-body ratio, and 19.5:9
aspect ratio.
Honor 20i includes a triple rear camera setup, which houses a
24-megapixel Primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide
camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
On the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens, support for
HDR, portrait mode, and face unlock for authentication.
