TikTok App Vanished From Google Play Store and
Apple Store
TikTok, an app for creating and sharing short videos, is
officially gone from Android's Google Play and iOS' App Store. A quick search
on Android and iOS devices shows that the app has, in fact, vanished from the
app stores. Since the service is still operating, those who have the app
pre-installed won't face any issues for now. However, for those who have
purchased new smartphones or reset their phones, they can't download the app on
their devices.
An Indian state court had earlier asked the federal government to
ban TikTok, citing concerns the video-sharing mobile app exposed children to
troubling content, including pornography. Earlier this week, India’s supreme
court refused to stay the Madras high court’s order imposing a ban on the app. Bytedance
challenged the state court's ban order in the Supreme Court last week, saying it
went against freedom of speech rights in
India. The court has requested written submissions from Bytedance in the case
and has scheduled its next hearing for April 24.

With the app no more available for download, TikTok members won't
be able to download the app anymore officially from the app stores. However,
despite the ban, Android smartphone users can still download the app - thanks
to third-party app stores.
For Android users, TikTok can still be downloaded from third-party
app depositories. Some of the popular websites such as APK Mirror, Apk Pure,
AndroidAPKs Box and many others are still hosting APK files of the TikTok app.
The APK files can be downloaded from these websites and installed on any
Android device.

If you want to download the TikTok app, you simply search
"TikTok apk" on Google and you will get numerous websites holding the
APK file. In order to download the file, you will have to follow the websites'
instructions and download the file to your phone. Once downloaded, tap on the
APK file to install the app and login with your TikTok account to start using
it.
