Samsung Has Launched its Galaxy M Series Phones in India


Is Samsung M Series is just an alert for Xiaomi?




Samsung has launched its highly anticipated Galaxy M10 and M20 budget smartphones in the Indian market. The Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 both have Infinity-V Display panels as well as dual rear camera setups. They both will be available via Amazon India and Samsung India e-store from February 5. You can also use face unlocking options on both phones, but do note that there's no fingerprint scanner on M10.

Galaxy M20 

The Galaxy M20  is the more powerful, more expensive model of the bunch. We’re looking at a 6.3-inch display with 2340 x 1080 resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio, an Exynos 7904 processor, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage, microSD support, 13-megapixel (f/1.9) and 5-megapixel (ultrawide f/2.2 lens) rear cameras, 8-megapixel (f/2.0) front camera, 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging, USB-C connectivity, and headphone jack.








 The Galaxy M20 has 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage options, both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). There is a fingerprint sensor at the back, and the phone also comes with a face unlock feature. Both the handsets will also come with a new Samsung Experience version 9.5 UX user interface and dedicated storage slot expandable to 512GB and dual SIM VoLTE support

Galaxy M10


The Galaxy M10  is less spectacular, and therefore, more affordable. The M10 features a 6.22-inch screen with 1520 x 720 resolution and  Exynos 7870 processor. The RAM and storage options are also downgraded to 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB. Samsung has provided a dual rear camera setup on the Galaxy M10 that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary, ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, there is a 5-megapixel sensor at the front.






The smartphone has an ultra-wide mode to support landscapes, cityscapes, and group photos. No fingerprint sensor is available in M10.


Availability & Price




The Galaxy M20 is priced at Rs 12,990 for the 4GB+64GB variant, while the 3GB+32GB variant will cost Rs 10,990. Galaxy M10 is priced at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB+32GB variant and Rs 7,990 for the 2GB+16GB. Both will be available on Amazon.in and Samsung.com starting February 5 and will be offered in Ocean Blue and Charcoal Black colours.
